UBI to add over 200 branches this fiscal

In
a
move
to
provide
greater
accessibilty
to
its
customers,
Union
Bank
of
India
(UBI)
plans
to
add
over
200
branches
across
the
country
by
the
end
of
this
fiscal.
The Bank today said it has approved the plan for setting up new branches in various regions of the counry. On an expansion drive and having opened 124 branches last fiscal, UBI has chosen the organic route for growth, the Bank said in a press release here today.
With the economy expected to grow at unprecedented levels, there is a growing need for banking products and services in many parts of the country. It is in anticipation of this need, that UBI has planned to add more than 200 branches during this fiscal, the release said.
