Haryana amends Housing Board regulations

Chandigarh, Oct 17 (UNI) The Haryana government has amended the Housing Board, Haryana (Allotment, Management and Sale of Tenements) Regulations, 1972.

As per the notification issued to this effect, a person belonging to "Economically Weaker Section" means a person whose monthly income does not exceed Rs 3300.

A person belonging to "Low Income Group" means a person whose monthly income exceeds Rs 3300 but does not exceed Rs 7300 and a person belonging to "Middle Income Group" means, a person whose monthly income exceeds Rs 7300 but does not exceed Rs 14500.

Similarly, a person belonging to "Higher Income Group" means a person whose monthly exceeds Rs 14500.

Earlier, the monthly income limit for Economically Weaker Section was Rs 2500, for Low Income Group it was Rs 2501 to Rs 5500, for Middle Income Group Rs 5501 to 10000 and for Higher Income Group exceeding Rs 10000.
