Ujjain, MP, Oct 16 (UNI) Prohibitory orders were lifted today from two police station areas in this divisional headquarters where they were imposed last night after a clash between two communities in the wake of an accident.

A case was registered against 12 people of both sides.

Stone-pelting took place after a motorcycle-borne youth collided at Naliya Bakhal crossing with workers present at a dance programme near a Goddess Durga pandal. Prohibitory orders were imposed in Kharakuan and Mahakal Police Station limits. About half-a-dozen people were injured but were stated to be out of danger.

''A peace committee meeting took place this morning. No arrest has been executed and the situation is normal,'' said Superintendent of Police Jaideep Prasad.
