Bhopal, Oct 16 (UNI) Mumbai emerged overall champions today in the five-day 38th Central School Games 2007 by winning the football, chess, taekwondo, badminton, handball, judo and kabaddi events.
Hosts Bhopal emerged victorious in the cricket, basketball, kayaking and taekwondo (girls) events. Prizes were distributed by Central Schools Organisation Joint Commissioner U N Singh who said, ''paucity of funds will not be allowed to come in the way of making national level-players.'' The 39th Games will be played at Hyderabad.
