Mining Department earns kudos from CM

Hyderabad, Oct 16 (UNI) Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy has complimented Mining Minister Sabita Indra Reddy and Department officials for achieving a total mineral revenue of Rs 681.77 crore as against the targeted Rs 680.75 crore, upto September 2007.

'Mining Department is the only one which has achieved the revenue targets,' said the Chief Minister while reviewing the performance of various departments including Excise and Commercial Taxes with his Ministers and officials concerned.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to strive for achieving the set targets by plugging loopholes in revenue collections,an official press release quoting him said.
