J&K to clash with Delhi in women's cricket

Srinagar, Oct 16 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir will clash with Delhi in a test match followed by one-dayer as part of league matches of women's senior cricket tournament.

The two-day test match would be played at the Sher-i-Kashmir cricket stadium here from Sunday, an official of the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) told UNI.

The one-day match between the two teams would be played at the same venue on October 23, he added.

The official said the eves of Jammu and Kashmir would then play a two-day test match against Punjab at Jammu on October 29-30 while the one-day clash is slated for October 31.

From today, Jammu and Kashmir eves are playing two-day match against Himachal Pradesh in the neighbouring state. The one-dayer between the two teams has been fixed for October 18 in Himachal Pradesh, he added.

The tournament is being organised by the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI).

The official said the selection trials for Ranji Trophy and boys' under-15 were also on here.
