Chandigarh, Oct 16 (UNI) The Punjab Police have made no headway in the Ludhiana bomb blast case despite claiming to have got some ''vital clues'' of the incident which left six dead and 33 injured.
ADGP (Law and Order) Chander Shekhar today claimed to have picked up certain clues, but refused to give details on the ground that this would hamper the investigations process.
He, however, categorically stated that so far no arrests had been made in the case though a few people were rounded up today for questioning.
The team investigating the explosion is headed by DIG (Ludhiana range) Ishwar Singh. The team is working on various theories, the ADGP said.
He, however, admitted that the police was yet to establish the nature of explosives or chemicals used in the blast.
