Hooda condoles scribe's death
Chandigarh, Oct 16 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has expressed ''deep shock and sorrow'' over the demise of Punjab Kesari News Editor Mohinder Khanna who died in Delhi today.
In a condolence message issued here today, Mr Hooda said Mr Khanna was a seasoned journalist who worked for about 50 years in the field of journalism and served the Punjab Kesari for the last 35 years.
He said Mr Khanna followed the ethics of journalism and worked throughout his life to help the poor and the needy sections of the society through his creative writings.
Mr Khanna was cremated at Nigam Bodh Ghat Delhi this evening.
A wreath was laid on behalf of the Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Chief Parliamentary Secretary Dharmabir Singh.
