New Delhi, Oct 16 (UNI) The chilly weather being experienced by Delhiites over the last couple of weeks abated today even as the day temperatures plummeted to 31.2 degree Celsius, two degrees below normal.
Reversing the trend of chill in the mornings over the last few weeks, the minimum temperature today rose to 18.6 degrees, from 16.1 degree C yesterday.
However, a fresh Upper cyclonic circulation in the area led to a sharp drop in maximum temperature to 31.2 degree C, from 33.6 degree C yesterday.
Weathermen said the cyclonic circulation could led to thundry development or light rains in Delhi during the next few days.
The Met office has forecast a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with conditions likely to become partly cloudy in the afternoon or evening.
They have also forecast possibility of thundry development in some areas.
