BSF seize goods worth Rs 1.79 crore

Agartala, Oct 16 (UNI) Border Security Force (BSF) seized smuggled goods worth almost Rs two crore from different parts of Tripura during raids conducted last month.

The goods included ganja and phyensidyle, besides garments.

BSF officials said here today that most of the items had been seized from West Tripura and was worth Rs 1,70,40,735.

Besides, BSF also apprehended 42 Indians and 20 Bangladeshis and one Pakistani from the porous Indo-Bangla border.
