Bangalore, Oct 15 (UNI) Following is a Summary of observations recorded by the weather office here at 0830 hours today.
Southwest Monsoon has withdrawn from northern parts of Gulbarga, Bijapur and Bidar districts of North Interior Karnataka.
Monsoon was weak over the State.
Dry weather prevailed over the State.
Maximum temperatures fell at a few places over Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka. They were appreciably above normal at most places being appreciably so at many places over Coastal Karnataka; appreciably above normal at many places over South Interior Karnataka and above normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka.
Minimum temperatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably below normal at most places over North Interior Karnataka and at a few places over South Interior Karnataka. They were normal over Coastal Karnataka.
Gulbarga recorded highest maximum temperature of 34.2 degree Celsius and Bijapur recorded lowest minimum temperature of 15.8 degree Celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Wednesday morning:Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over North Interior Karnataka.
Farmers Weather Bulletin:Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.
Mainly dry weather may prevail over all the districts of North Interior Karnataka.
Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change is expected over the State.
Local forecast: Partly cloudy. Maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 32 degree Celsius and 20 degree Celsius respectively.
