Security beefed up at BSE, NSE
Mumbai, Oct 15: Security was today beefed up at the country's premier stock exchanges--Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) here, following a threatening e-mail received by the NSE authorities.
The e-mail was sent yesterday by one Abdul, a self-proclaimed agent of the Pak intelligence agency, Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), to top boss of the NSE, stating he will ''blow-up both NSE and BSE exchanges within the next 48 hours'', police sources said here today.
After receiving the complaints from the exchange authorities, security was tightened up at both the exchanges, the sources added.
