Patna, Oct 15 (UNI) Former Bihar chief minister and leader of opposition in the state assembly Rabri Devi today condemned the killing of Biharis in yesterdays explosion in a cinema hall in Ludhiana and demanded compensation for the victims' kin.
Expressing grief over the incident, she asked the government to make suitable arrangements for handing over the bodies to the relatives. She also suggested that the Bihar government coordinate with its Punjab counterpart for this. Arrangements should also be made for treatment of the injured.
''It is unfortunate that the Nitish Kumar government failed to check migration of labourers and his promises made in this context proved to be tall claims,'' she said.
Rabri Devi said all state governments should initiate strict measures to control such attacks and take strong action against the guilty.
