Morocco unveils cabinet with few new faces
RABAT, Oct 15 (Reuters) Morocco's King Mohammed approved a new cabinet today, keeping the interior and religious affairs ministers in their jobs, an official statement said.
Former industry minister Salaheddine Mezouar was named finance minister to replace Fathallah Oualalou and ex-deputy foreign minister Taieb Fassi Fihri became diplomacy chief, replacing Mohamed Benaissa.
On Sept. 19 King Mohammed appointed Abbas el Fassi, whose conservative Istiqlal (Independence) party took the top spot in a Sept. 7 parliamentary election, as prime minister.
