Patna, Oct 15: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today alleged the Congress had bowed before the Left over 123 Nuke deal to save its UPA government at the Centre and predicted that it might compromise on some other issues in future. Mr Kumar told newspersons here that possibilities of mid-term poll loomed large due to the internal bickerings among the UPA partners. RJD Chief and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad was devoid of issues and induldged in "gimmicks" to instigate his party workers, Mr Kumar said adding his government would extend all possible assistance to the proposed "Chetavni" rally of the RJD.
To a query, he asked Mr Prasad to clarify the actual reason behind the delay in execution of some of the projects of Railways, including conversion of metre gauge into broad gauge.
He said Mr Prasad was unnecessarly blaming the Bihar government for delay in land acquisition for the projects of Railways.
To another query related to the then District Magistrate of Gopalganj G Krishnaiyya murder case, he said law would take its own course.
