Patna, Oct 15 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today alleged the Congress had bowed down before the Left over the nuclear deal to the save UPA government at the Centre and claimed that it might also compromise on other issues in the future.

Mr Kumar told newspersons here that the possibility of mid-term polls loomed large due to internal bickerings among the UPA partners.

RJD chief and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad was devoid of issues and indulged in ''gimmicks'' to instigate his party workers, Mr Kumar said, adding his government would extend all possible assistance to the proposed ''Chetavni'' rally of the RJD.

He asked Mr Prasad to clarify the actual reason behind the delay in execution of some of the projects of Railways, including conversion of metre gauge into broad gauge.

He said Mr Prasad was unnecessarly blaming the Bihar government for the delay in land acquisition for the projects of Railways.

To another query related to the then District Magistrate of Gopalganj G Krishnaiyya murder case, he said law would take its own course.
