3 wildlife hunters wounded in firing
Siddharthnagar, Oct 15 (UNI) Three wildlife hunters were wounded, when forest guards fired upon them at Bhakhirajheel in the neighbouring Sant Kabirnagar district last night, police said today.
The trio had threatened first the forest guards, when they were asked to desist from hunting birds illegally.
In the subsequent firing by the guards, three hunters Dayal, Virendra and Ramdayal were wounded.
Later, they were taken to Gorakhpur medical college for treatment.
A case had been registered.
