New Delhi, Oct 15 (UNI) The Delhi police today claimed to have solved about 12 cases of burglary in high security zones.
According to a release, police arrested Mauzam Ansari near Satyam Cineplex yesterday. A search on his person yielded digital cameras, laptops and others.
He was held along with his accomplice identified as Surendra Nayyar, a scrap dealer.
Their interrogation led to some startling revelations.
He made the VVIP and high security zones his target, the release added. He used to enter the bungalows and kothis of VVIPs during the nights at about 0200 hrs by breaking the backside window panes.
Thereafter, he used to take expensive electronic items like laptops, cameras, mobiles etc besides, available food, liqour and other valuables.
