10 injured in road accident in Punjab

Phagwara, Oct 15 (UNI) Ten occupants of a car sustained serious injuries, when their vehicle rammed into a jeep parked on the roadside near Bahar Majra on Phagwara--Banga road last evening, police today said.

Nine of the injured were identified as Manjit Singh, Sunil, Vikki, Karan, Jyoti, Gulshan, Satwinder, Naresh and Purshotam. They were admitted in the civil hospital here.

The accident occured when the car driver lost control over the vehicle and it rammed into a stationery jeep.
