Bangalore, Oct 14 (UNI) Id-Ul-Fitr, which marks end of a month-long fast, was celebrated with religious fervour and enthusiasm by the Muslim in Karnataka today.
Muslims, drubbed with new cloths exchanged greetings with Hindus brothern.
Former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and other leaders greeted the Muslims on the occasion.
Some parts of the city wore a festive look and the most revered festival saw the biggest congregation at Idgah maidan in the Contonment area.
City Police Commissioner Neelam Achyutrao said the festival was celebrated with traditional fervour and passed off peacefully.
