Nahan, Oct 14 (UNI) Promising to take strict action against corrupt people, BSP's Himachal Pradesh convenor Vijai Singh Mankotia today said it will order a judicial probe against state Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh for accumulating money through ''corrupt means'' after coming to power in the state.
Addressing a public meeting at Haripurdhar, one of the remotest areas of Sirmaur district about 102 km from here, he said on coming to power it would order an judicial probe against Mr Singh and his MP wife Pratibha Singh for their role in ''corrupt practices''.
Referring to the chief minister remarks on Election Commission's decision to hold early elections, he said the Congress party had been rattled by the announcement and was trying every means within his reach to get the polling dates shifted to early next year.
Mr Mankotia accused both the ruling Congress and the opposition BJP of failing to fulfill the expectations of the common man and said the people would teach both these parties a lesson at the hustings.
Since the people of the state were fed up with both the parties, they would vote for change and for BSP, he said.
Referring to his decision to join BSP, he said the Congress party was neck deep in corruption and had little concern for the poor man.
Asserting that the party would lodge a complaint with the Election Commission against the Sirmaur district administration for not allowing his helicopter to land at Sarahan in the district, he said due to this his public meeting there had to be called off.
He also cautioned the administration from playing into the hands of certain politicians, saying they otherwise would have to pay a heavy price for that.
