Chandigarh, Oct 14 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today strongly condemned the unfortunate and tragic incident of bomb blast in a cinema hall at Ludhiana, in which six people were killed and 20 others injured.
In a condolence message, he expressed his heartfelt sympathies with members of the bereaved families.
He asked the district administration to keep a strict vigil on the situation.
He said law and order would be maintained at every cost in the state and fundamental and anti-national forces, which were inimical to peace, amity and harmony, would not be allowed to succeed in their nefarious designs.
The Chief Minister directed the district administration to provide free treatment to the injured and said adequate compensation to the next of kin of deceased and injured would be announced soon.
Meanwhile, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) working President Sukhbir Singh Badal, MP, also condemned this dastardly act.
