Arun Kumar holds talks with TNCC leaders
Chennai, Oct 14 (UNI) Congress MP and in-charge of the party's political affairs in Tamil Nadu Arun Kumar today held discussions with senior leaders of the TNCC at Sathyamurthy Bhavan here to chalk out the party's strategy in the State.
The meeting was attended by senior party leaders, including Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram, Union Minister of State for Textiles E V K S Elangovan, AICC Spokesperson Jayanthi Natarajan, TNCC President M Krishnaswamy, MPs Dhanushkodi Adithan, Prabhu and Karvendhan, MLAs D Sudharsanam, Peter Alphonse, Vishnu Prasad and youth wing leader Mayura Jayakumar.
Mr Arun Kumar, who recently took over from Mr Veerappa Moily, visited the Rajiv Gandhi Memorial at Sriperumbudur and paid tributes to the former Prime Minister.
During the meeting, Mr Arun Kumar released a book on the advantages of operationalising the nuke deal with the US.
