AIADMK to agitate against price hike of building materials

Chennai, Oct 14 (UNI) The Opposition AIADMK in Tamil Nadu will stage an agitation in front of the Memorial Hall here tomorrow to condemn the DMK Government for its 'failure' to arrest the price rise of building materials.

In a statement here today, the AIADMK said the price hike of building materials, including cement, sand, bricks and steel, had not only hindered various construction works, but also left many people unemployed. Besides, the price increase had rendered the construction industry sick, it added.
