Chapra, Oct 13: Railway Minister Lalu Prasad today reiterated that the UPA government at the Centre would complete its full term and dismissed speculations of mid-term poll over the deadlock on Indo-US nuclear deal with the Left parties.
After laying foundation stone of the railway engine factory at Marhaura in Saran district, Mr Prasad exuded confidence that the deadlock over Indo-US nuclear deal would end soon through dialogues with the Left parties.
He defended the nuclear deal saying the energy requirements of the country would be fulfilled to a great extent once it was operationalised.
'' The Marhaura railway engine factory would produce 150 engines per year once it became operational,'' he said, adding the factory would start manufacturing in two years.
Mr Prasad assured that the UPA government would provide all financial assistance to the Bihar government for all-round development.
He alleged that the state government had failed to utilise the funds provided by the Centre for execution of various welfare and development schemes.
