Mumbai, Oct 13: The specially designated Tada court has issued release orders for five more 1993 Mumbai serial blast convicts following the apex court granting interim bail to them.

The five convicts -- Yusuf Khan, Rafique Madi, Asif Shaikh, Shanawaz Shaikh and Imtiyaz Ghawte -- were granted bail by the Supreme Court on the grounds that they are yet to receive the copy of the designated court's sentence.

These convicts were also granted bail on similar grounds of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who was released last month.

Till now the Apex Court has granted interim bail to 21 convicts out of the 100 convicts sentenced by Tada court. All of them have to surrender before the authorities after they receive the copies of the final judgment.

Meanwhile, the designated court is busy preparing copies of the order consisting of 6,000 pages each, which will be handed over to convicts from October 18 and the same will be available to Dutt on October 20.

However, according to sources, Tada court will not be in a position to hand over the copies on the scheduled date as only 70 per cent work has been completed.
