New Delhi, Oct 13 (UNI) The Rs 450-crore Select Citywalk mall, spread over an area of 1.3 million sq ft, was inaugurated here yesterday.
The shopping centre is one - stop for service apartments, cinemas, a large outdoor plaza and extensive covered parking.
''Shopping centres and other commercial public spaces across the world have evolved and are great experiences. Our effort was focused on creating an environment with addictive shopping and a lot of cafes,'' Select Citywalk President and Chief Executive Officer Pranay Sinha told reporters.
Select Citywalk, located at the Saket District Centre, is the six-acre centrepiece of the 54-acre District Centre that comprises retail spaces, office spaces, a multiplex and serviced apartments.
''The buliding was worked upon tirelessly for approximately 30 months,'' said mall's Director Yograj Arora.
The centre features as many as 11 entry points, four through the main Plaza, one through the multiplex, and six through the basement car park.
While the ground floor which contain the main plaza with a women's zone and youth zone, the second floor would have a children's zone housing specialty services and products as well as a children's play area at one end and a area at the other.
Over 125 stores, representing over 500 Indian and International brands have showcased in this mall.
