Paul
Pisasale,
Mayor
of
Ipswich
city,
Queensland
Australia,
has
called
for
strong
networking
to
achieve
the
common
goals.
Addressing the members of the Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Mr Pisasale, who is leading a busienss delegation from Ipswich opined that Education and Knowledge would be the key for future to sustain growth.
Inviting the enterpreneurs from the state for business partnerships in Ipswich which plays a vital role in the growth of South-East Queensland he said "Ipswich looking forward infrastructure support and offers exciting business partnership" .
Earlier speaking on the occasion, Mr J R Bangera, Chairman, International trade Committee FKCCI, informed that India had become Australia's sixth largest trading partner with the two-way trade between Australia and India reaching 11.4 billion dollars during last fiscal.
He said that the Education sector held huge potential for Australian firms and institutions. "Last year Australia edged out the United Kingdom to become the second most sought after destination for the Indian students and attracted over 15000 students in 2006" he said.
