Hollister to set up Rs 250 crore medicare unit in Haryana

Chandigarh, Oct 13 (UNI) Hollister Inc, Washington will set up a 100 per cent export-oriented unit in Bawal industrial area of Haryana with a capital investment of Rs 250 crore, to develop and manufacture its medicare products.

A delegation from Hollister Inc (US), a leading manufacturer for the medical care led by its President George Malickel, Robert Crowe, Director (North America), and Guljit Singh, Director (Services) met the Haryana Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda, currently on visit to Washington and apprised him of their expansion plan for Asia.

After detailed discussion, the Haryana government decided to allot a 10 acres plot in the growth centre Bawal.

The Chief Minister also assured the company that all possible assistance would be provided to the company for the timely implementation of the project.
