Manipur scribes agitate against militant threats

Imphal, Oct 12 (UNI) The All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) today staged a sit - in against the threat by militants to the scribes of the state at Press Club here.

The journalists across the state have stopped working for the last two days following repeated threats by the militant outfits here.

Condemning the threat, the AMWJU had appealed to all to allow the media to function freely without any harassment.
