Gov asks state ministers to prioritise devp
Itanagar, Oct 12: Arunachal Pradesh Governor K Shankara Narayanan today called upon the ministers and senior officers to prioritise development to give a new momentum to the process.
After interacting with state Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu on Wednesday last, the governor gave a first hand information on the status of development.
He told mediapersons that he would not interfere in the state government's functioning but extend full cooperation as he had completed faith in Mr Khandu's commitment to take the state to new heights.
He also added that there was a lot of scope in the state for setting up professional institutions like engineering, medical and nursing colleges to provide adequate education.
Replying to a question, Mr Shankarnarayan, who is also the governor of Nagaland, said medical college would be set by this month-end in the state.
