Girl drowns in pond

Mahoba, Oct 12 (UNI) A girl drowned in a pond at village Dhamaura here.

Vikram and his sister Savitri had gone to pluck lotus flowers in the pond yesterday, when they were caught in deep waters.

By the time, people rushed to their rescue, Savitri had drowned, police said.

Vikram was rushed to hospital, where his condition was stated to be critical.
