Lucknow, Oct 12 (UNI) Claiming, the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre was on its death-bed, the National President of Bharatiya Janata Party Rajnath Singh today said there should be Lok Sabha polls to end the political instability.
''I cannot say when the Lok Sabha polls would be held, but an early LS polls are a certainity as the Congress and the Left parties are unable to get along,'' BJP national president told newspersons here.
He said the Congress had been a miserable failure in running the coalition and its failures stood compounded since CPM leader Sitaram Yetchury had gone on the records praising the previous BJP-led NDA alliance at the Centre.
If Congress and the Left cannot run the coalition government they should move apart and pave way for fresh Lok Sabha polls, Mr Singh opined.
In reply to a question, he said his party was well prepared for the parliamentary elections which were bound to take place ahead of its schedule time.
