Drug haul in Chhattisgarh

Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, Oct 12 (UNI) Brown sugar valued at Rs 13.5 lakh, in the international market, was seized from a youth here today.

''Police raided the residence of one Jashoda in Ghasiyapara locality. The accused was identified as Amit Jaiswal who hails from Sadwa village in Jharkhand's Gadwa district. About 100 gm of the substance was seized,'' said Superintendent of Police Hemkrishna Rathore.

The accused reached here by bus last evening.
