Hyderabad, Oct 12 (UNI)Conseil Internationaldu Sports Militaire (CISM) President B Gen Giai Gola today expressed happiness over the security arrangements for the fourth World Military Games begining here on October 14.
''I am 100 per cent sure that Indian and Andhra Pradesh authorities are doing their best to provide fool-proof security for the Games being held for the first time in Asia'', he told reporters here.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Chairman of the event, Y S Rajasekhara Reddy said the security concerns were fully addressed by the state police.
Meanwhile, Cyberabad Police Commissioner S Prabhakara Reddy told newsmen that ''world class security'' would be provided to the participants.
He said the state police would also take the help of military police in this regard.
He said the National Security Guards (NSG) would undertake air coverage as part of security measures during the event.
He said 10,000 police personnel, including ten SP Rank Officers, 40 Deputy Sps and Assistant Commissioner of Police rank officers, 100 Circle Inspectors and 600 Sub-Inspectors would be deployed for security measures.
He said 1400 traffic police would look after the traffic arrangements during the Games and regulate the traffic during VVIP movements.
He said visitors would not be allowed to take any eatables, watter bottles inside the stadias, and through checks would be conducted at all entry points in every stadium.
