27 Myanmar nationals held on Indo-Pak border
Jammu, Oct 12 (UNI) Twenty-seven Myanmar nationals, including 12 women and five children, were today arrested when they were attempting to cross into Pakistan at the International Border (IB) at R S Pura sector, about 30 km from here, official sources said.
The BSF(Border Security Force) personnel apprehended 27 people who were trying to cross into Pakistan from the IB at the AMK border outpost early this morning, as they intercepted some suspicious movement, the sources said.
During preliminary questioning, the arrested disclosed that they belonged to Myanmar, sources said.
All the arrested people were later handed over to police.
