Wimco factory officials, employees booked for murder
Bareilly, Oct 11 (UNI) Police have registered a case against all the officials and employees of matchbox factory Wimco for killing and concealing the body of a former worker.
Official sources said here today, two days back a corpse was found in the water tank of the factory.
Last night, Santosha Devi of village Paspaur identified the body as that of her husband Puran Lal, who had been missing.
Puran, who worked in Wimco, had already been sacked under charges of burglary. He used to frequently visit the factory to ask for money from the management.
On Santosha's complaint, police booked Wimco factory's officials and workers in the murder case.
The postmortem also confirmed that Puran died of drowning.
