UK's Lessing says Nobel deals her "royal flush"
LONDON, Oct 11 (Reuters) British novelist Doris Lessing said she was delighted at winning the 2007 Nobel Prize for literature today and said the award had dealt her the literary equivalent of a ''royal flush''.

the
87-year-old
writer
told
reporters
outside
her
London
home:
''I've
won
all
the
prizes
in
Europe,
every
bloody
one.
I'm
delighted
to
win
them
all,
the
whole
lot...It's
a
royal
flush.''
