Top SKD leader joins hands with SP

Lucknow, Oct 11 (UNI) Samajwadi Kranti Dal (SKD) chief general secretary Shahab Khalid joinedthe SP along with his associates here today.

SP state unit secretary S R S Yadav said these leaders met SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav and decided to join his party.

Addressing mediapersons here, Mr Khalid, who was Mr Verma's ''Man Friday,'' said ''the anti-SP policies of his party coerced him to leave the post. I regret being a part of the SKD.'' Apart from Mr Khalid, Sarwar ALi ormer MLA from Ramnagar seat in Barabanki and Congress general secretary (Barabanki) Ram Sajeevan Verma also joined hands with the SP.
