Gang of autolifters busted

New Delhi, Oct 11 (UNI) Police today claimed to have busted a gang of inter state autolifters with the arrest of five people from North West Delhi.

Sanjay Kumar (31), Raj Kumar (35), Vijay Kumar (27), Pawan Kumar (24) and Surender Singh (21) were arrested on October 9 from Sant Nirankari Samagam, Burari.

Police said with their arrest 16 casesof auto theft had been worked out.

Police recovered six cars, three forged R/C, three fake driving licences and a bag containing duplicate number plates.
