Deshmukh condemns Ajmer Sharif blast, demands more security
Mumbai, Oct 11 (UNI) Condemning the blast at the shrine of the Muslim Sufi Saint Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishti in Ajmer, Maharashtra, Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh tonight stressed on the need for more security at religious places across the state.
The blast occurred at around 1815 hrs near the holy tomb shortly after the custom of 'iftar', in which two persons were killed and 12 injured.
Urging the people to maintain calm and patience, Mr Deshmukh also asked the Central government to take immediate action against those responsible for the blast.
