New Delhi, Oct 11 (UNI) Delhiites today had a feel of wintry conditions with the mornings witnessing a plummeting of the mercury to 16 degrees Celsius, four degrees below normal.
Continuing the trend of falling mercury over the last couple of weeks, the maximum fell to 33.9 Degree C, from 34 Degree C yesterday.
This morning saw a severe chill in the air with the minimum plummeting to 16 degrees C, from 17 degrees C yesterday.
The chill in the air was likely to persist in the coming days with the weathermen forecasting a drop in maximum temperature to 33 degrees C tomorrow.
The Met office forecast mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours.
