Akhand Pratap sent in 14-day judicial custody
New Delhi, Oct 11 (UNI) Special CBI judge I K Kochar today sent former Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Akhand Pratap Singh in 14-day judicial custody in a disproportionate assets case.
Singh was produced in the court on expiry of his 3-day CBI remand.
Singh, who was once voted the most corrupt officer by the UP IAS association, stans accused of amassing wealth uneven to his known sources of income.
According to the prosecution, Singh accquired as many as 84 immovable properties in Delhi, UP and Uttarakhand worth Rs 200 crore.
