Mahila Cong workers lay siege to TDP leader's house
Hyderabad, Oct 10 (UNI) Mahila Congress activists, led by Andhra Pradesh Mahila Congress President Ganga Bhavani, today laid siege to the house of TDP spokeswoman Nannapaneni Rajakumari to protest against certain ''objectionable remarks'' made by her on Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
Ms Rajakumari had alleged that ''Dr Reddy had backstabbed late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and raised the banner of revolt during the regimes of Kotla Vijayabhaskara Reddy, Marri Chenna Reddy and N Janardhana Reddy.'' Following the seige, police rushed to the spot and restored normalcy.
Meanwhile, TDP spokesperson T Sitaram condemned the Congress activists for attacking Ms Rajakumari's house.
