Vadodara, Oct 10 (UNI) The Indians, having tasted blood after their victory in the fourth one-dayer against Australia, will try and keep the momentum going by going all out for a win in the fifth ODI of the seven-match series for the Future Cup to be played at the Reliance Industries cricket stadium here tomorrow.
India who are down 1-2 in the series, would like to make it 2-2 before proceeding to Nagpur for the sixth and then onto Mumbai for the seventh and last one-day international to give them a chance to upset the applecart of the World 50 over champions.
The toss is expected to be crucial for this match and the team winning the toss is expected to bat first on a belter of a pitch that has witnessed scores of around 290 in previous matches.
Win the toss, bat first and put up a huge score on board to put the opposition under pressure, would be the motto on this wicket.
With early morning dew also playing a part with the 0900 hrs start, the opening bowlers would find it difficult to grip the ball giving further advantage to the team batting first.
However, the Indians cannot take the Aussies lightly as the visitors, as is their wont, are expected to come doubly stronger tomorrow to assert their supremacy in the 50 over game.
But there is good news for captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni as some of the problems that cropped up during the losses in Kochi and Hyderabad seem to have been solved with the win in Chandigarh with the famed Indian batting line-up, which has been a major source of disappointment at the start of the series, coming good in Chandigarh.
