Haryana police to recruit 1940 temp constables

Chandigarh, Oct 10 (UNI) The Haryana Police has decided to recruit 1,940 male temporary constables (General Duty).

A police spokesman today said the minimum educational qualification of the candidate should be 10+2 from Board of School Education, Haryana or any other Board recognised by it for all categories.

He said the general category candidates should be between 18 to 25 years as on October one, 2007 and relaxation in upper age limit for SC/BC candidates would be given as per the rule of the state government. The minimum height of the candidate should be 5'-7" and chest without expansion should be 33 inch and with expansion 34.6''.

He said the candidate could apply at selection centres located in District Police Lines of Yamunanagar, Kaithal, Gurgaon, Mewat, Bhiwani, Fatehabad, Panipat and Jhajjar on or before October 23 by the registered post.
