Cogent EMR Solutions Lmt brings anti-radiation solutions to Bengal

Kolkata, Oct 10 (UNI) Delhi-based Cogent EMR Solutions Lmt, the only company to study the effects of electromagnetic radiation on human body, has brought its array of products to West Bengal.

Addressing a press conference here today, Cogent EMR Solutions LMT Principal Advisor Dr Ved Prakash Sandlas said, ''There is nothing as safe radiation. One must protect oneself from the harmful rays of the EMR emitted by all electric, microwave and radio wave appliances.'' ''Cell Phone Tower Proliferation is a phenomenon, becoming common these days,'' he said and added, ''In India, there are no restrictions against installation of mobile phone towers. This is also a problem in Kolkata as well as the rest of West Bengal.'' Despite being the only company doing business in manufacturing products as solutions to radiation problems, we have brought out products at very cheap prices,'' Head of Corporate Communication in Cogent EMR Solutions Ltd Amitava Bhattacharya said.

''So much so, it is even believed that one of the causes for global warming is EMR from cell phones, among other electric and electronic appliances,'' Mr Bhattacharya said.

Specific Absorption Rate(SAR) determines the radiation level of cell phones. Mr Sandlas said that most good and high priced phones have an SAR of .3 watt/kg. However, most recognised brands of phones in India may have an SAR of .6 - 1.6 watt/kg. ''Anything above that is fatal to the human body,'' Dr Sandlas said.

Demonstrating how the radiation emitted by a cell phone can harm a person, the company's CEO Jafar Haq showed the different products manufactured by Cogent EMR Solutinos Ltd and are presently available in the market.
