Amaravathi Group's jubilee fete on Oct 13

Chennai, Oct 10 (UNI) Amaravathi Group, engaged in chit business, hotel business and polymer products, will host a series of welfare programmes as part of its silver jubilee celebrations on October 13.

Announcing this at a press conference here last night, Company Chairman and Managing Director Amaravathi Radhakrishnan said Union Minister for Statistics and Programme Implementation G K Vasan would inaugurate a series of medical camps on that day.

Elaborating on the programmes, he said a blood donation camp would be organised by Lions Blood Bank and Research Foundation of Chennai, while an eye donation camp would be conducted in association with Balakrishna Eye Hospital.

Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Speaker R Avudaiappan would distribute artificial limbs and calipers to the needy.
