Chennai, Oct 9 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) today said it was regulating power supply due to problems experienced at its thermal power stations and shortage in wind power generation.

A TNEB release here this evening said thermal power generation at Turicorin, Ennore and North Chennai and Neyveli Lignite Corporation was hit due to forced outages of the machines.

Further, there was a 1,000 MW shortage in wind power generation leading to an overall reduced availability of 1,000 MW in Tamil Nadu.
