TN: 2 arrested at airport with fake passports

Two
persons
were
arrested
by
the
police
when
they
landed
at
the
airport
here
allegedly
with
fake
passports
yesterday.
Police said Arumugham, hailing from Perambalur district, who arrived here from Sharjah by an Indian flight, was detained by the immigration authorities following suspicion.
During interrogation, the immigration officials found that his original name was M Murugesan and he substited his photograph in the passport.
In another incident, S Aathi was arrested by the immigration authorities when he arrived here from Singapore with a fake passport.
They were later remanded in judicial custody.
